The shape and arrangement of the notches trap the hair in a way that avoids the unsightly little stubble that arises when the depth of the notch for the thickness of the hair used is not sufficient.

This needle has HL-notches that are distinguished by having a particularly rounded shape and therefore protect, firstly, the vinyl and, secondly, they prevent hair from breaking while grafting.

When the head is heated by a heat source (eg halogen lamp) or a bag of rice, the needle slides through almost by itself and leaves barely visible punctures.
